The last highway clean up for this year will be Sat Sept 23rd. 8am at Veldheer’s Tulip Farm.
Even though I haven’t won the weekly raffle, I am buying coffee to our volunteers that can be there. Also, I am provided a stylish vest to the participants.
Please contact Mike Moraw (mike.moraw@huntington.com / 616-836-5524) if you can attend. We have had light turnouts in recent weeks.

Oct. 12, 2017 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
October 12, 10:30 AM, in the coffee area of the Haworth Conference Center. (The August 31 meeting is cancelled.)
This will give Kathy and Tom and a chance to report on the Kenya project since they will be in Kenya in the end of August. Also, the agenda will include discussion by David and Sue on possible projects that they have been considering.
Please let me know if there are other items to add to the October 12, 10:30 AM agenda. If know of a Rotarian that might be interested in our committee, let me know.
Thank you for informing me about the conflicts on the proposed August meeting.
Best wishes,
Gary Bogle

"Wilderness to World Class" Film
Nov. 30, 2017
Holland, Michigan, has been and continues to be an exceptionally prosperous community in many, many ways. The Holland Film Group (HFG) is producing a film documentary that explores both the historical bedrock and the modern dynamics of that community. The film will demonstrate the events, personalities, natural resources and other factors that have made Holland the vibrant success that it is. Through the use of historical data and images, numerous interviews, and compelling narrative, the HFG will inform viewers of the reasons Holland developed into the progressive and innovative economic powerhouse it is today. In cooperation with the Community Foundation of the Holland Zeeland Area and the Holland Museum, the HFG will provide viewers with a unique experience explaining the Holland “difference.” |
