Oyugis Marketplace Water, Sanitation, and Health Project (current)

The Oyugis produce market is located in a commercial area of town and is open on the weekends. Because there are no public restrooms or clean water this has been a major source of illness. The Rotary Club of Kisumu identified this in their health studies. The current Global Grant project is building two restroom/shower/water distribution buildings.

Officials from the two Rotary Clubs at the wellhead. The building in the background is the office.

One of the two sites is contained within the blue walls. Inside the hole for the biodigester installation is complete.
