This Thursday, we will be helping Habitat for Humanity with flooring and installing interior trim at the Vista Green Ct building site. This is located at 285 W. 36th Street, Holland, MI 49423. Here are more details. Please note that you need to complete the online waiver and watch the safety video before you arrive. Attire:
Please let your group know to wear clothes they don't mind getting a little dirty. We also ask that everyone wear closed-toe shoes for safety.
Tools & Materials:
We provide all of the tools, materials, and protective equipment your group will need for the day, so there's no need to bring your own tools or safety gear.
Arrival & Check-In:
Please look for your site supervisors or me upon arrival. Your crew will be working with our Construction Site Supervisor, Sean Ciaccio, and Ben Sikkink. When you arrive at the build site, you will be working on the last two houses on the left. That is where I will meet your group and get you checked in and situated.
Waivers:
Each participant is required to complete a waiver once per calendar year before volunteering. To save time, we encourage everyone to complete the waiver online in advance. If it has not been completed beforehand, I will assist participants with filling it out on-site using either a QR code or a paper copy.
Safety:
Before work begins, your supervisor will provide a safety briefing specific to the tasks your group will be completing. If any safety equipment is needed, we will provide it at check-in. We also encourage everyone to watch our online safety video before arriving.

Kathy has been to Kenya numerous times. She has been involved in multiple projects in which our club has participated. She was impressed with a comment that one of our Kenyan Rotarians made. Peace can be created by providing health equity. Removing barriers to care allows people to be treated with dignity.
