Howard Fink, update on Park Township
Rotarian Howard Fink is the Park Township supervisor and we look forward to hearing his news.

Guests last week, 9/30/21
Sarah is a past RI Peace Scholar from our club and is currently on leave. Her most recent post was in Shenyang, China and she shared highlights and adventures from her time there. She was accompanied to club by her parents, Debbie and Dave Sanderson, and we sang a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday to Dave. Other guest were assistant principal of Holland High Josh Rumpsa and HCHS Junior Rotarian Landon Culver. We also welcomed Jacki Kleinheksel and our Outbound Rotary Youth Exchange candidates Brisa Sanchez-Valdez and Kierian Overbeek, both from Holland High.

Thank you to Kathy DeVries for introducing our new International Services committee clean water project in Kenya and to John Helm for his update on Habitat for Humanity.

Josh Rumpsa, Sarah Sanderson Doyle, Kierian Overbeek, and Brisa Sanchez-Valdez--all from Holland High at various times.

The Great Book Move of 2021
of books for the Little Free Libraries from OmniDie to Herrick was accomplished--special thanks to Jon Gronberg, John Helm, and Lori Varner.

Rotarians at ArtPrize
Charles Elwood has an Artificial Intelligence based ArtPrize entry--it is in the 2nd floor lobby of the Hyatt Place in downtown Grand Rapids. Charles thanks fellow Rotarians John Hoekstra, Jon Gronberg, Tim Schreur, Larry Engelsman and David Beattie as without their help it wouldn’t have been possible.
