Charles Elwood, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation Water Project

In the summer of 2021, Many Rotarians in West Michigan sewed masks, gowns, booties, and 3d Printed face shields and ear savers.  The closing act of this project, called 3Dc19, was the Elwood family driving a box of handmade PPE out to the Pine Ridge Reservation.  Charles was able to learn firsthand about the clean water and food distribution system that the Running Strong organization and the Lone Elk family provide for their reservation.  Future projects on the reservation include a pepper plant yield, wireless internet, and STEM neuroscience kit.
