District 6290 Life Leadership Conference
The Life Leadership Conference works to encourage students to be more effective servant leaders. It is not a conference intended to teach leadership skills (It is assumed that the students in attendance already possess those skills); however, the following topics naturally arise in the course of Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) activities and discussions.
Our Life Leadership Conference (LLC) has impacted more than 7,200 youth leaders since its creation in 1949. Rotary District 6290 looks each year for high school students who are outstanding school and/or community leaders with a strong service background to apply.
The Holland area Rotary Clubs usually provide 8 scholarships for the conference.
